    Eligibility and Conditions

    Full-Price Online Orders:

    • We accept returns for products purchased from smithoptics.com within 30 days of the purchase date.
    • Products must be unused and in their original packaging.
    • Both full-price and sales items are eligible for returns and will be refunded to the original form of payment.

    Exclusions:

    • Orders placed through our Pro Program or other industry partners are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or credits.

    How to Make a Return

    To initiate a return, follow these steps:

    1. Requirements:

      • You will need your order number (excluding the -01), email address, and billing zip code.

    2. Return Label Fee:

      • A $10 return fee for the printable return shipping label will be deducted from your refund (US only).

    3. Canadian Returns:

      • Canadian customers must pay for return shipping to our warehouse in Montreal.
      • We recommend retaining tracking information.
      • Refunds may take up to two weeks after the return is received by our warehouse.

    4. Refund Process:

      • Your refund, minus the $10 return label fee, will be processed to your original payment method within three to five business days after we receive your return.
      • Refunds may take up to 30 days to appear on your credit card statement.

    To start the return process, log in to your account or use our Return Portal to look up your order.

    Pro Returns and Final Sale Items

    Pro Program Purchases:

    • Purchases made through the Smith Optics Pro Program or external pro sites cannot be returned.

    Final Sale Items:

    • Items marked as final sale cannot be returned.

  • How to Make a Return

    To make a return, you will need your order number (leaving off the -01), email address, and billing zip code to start the online return process. We charge a $10 return fee for the printable return shipping label. The cost of the return label will be subtracted from your refund.

     

    At this time, we do not offer return labels through our Canadian shipping partners. The cost of the return will be fronted by you. You are free to choose any courier service through which to ship your return. 

     

    The purchase will be refunded, minus the $10 return label fee, to your original form of payment within three to five business days after we receive your return. Refunds may take up to 30 days to be visible on your credit card statement.
