You can add a personalized message (up to 550 character max) to any Gift Card purchase on smithoptics.com.
I bought a product with a Gift Card, how do I make a return?
If you wish to return your products purchased by using a Gift Card, please visit the Smith Return Portal (https://returns.narvar.com/smithoptics/returns) and submit a request. Any amount used from the Gift Card for the purchase will result in a refund to a newly issued Gift Card. The new Gift Card details will be emailed to you following the return of your order.
Can I purchase a Gift Card with a Gift Card?
No, you cannot purchase a Gift Card with another Gift card.
When will the Gift Card arrive with the receiver?
Gift Cards will be sent by email about 1 hour after purchase. Recipient should check Junk or Spam folders.
Can I have a Gift Card mailed?
No, we do not support physical mailing of Gift cards.
Where can a Gift Card be used?
The Gift Card can be redeemed online towards the purchase of Smith products on smithoptics.com in the US.
How do I use a Gift Card?
Select your Smith product/s of choice, then proceed to your Cart and click the Checkout button. After entering shipping details, you can then select the 'Gift Card' option in the Payment step. This will then be applied to your Order Summary and display the balance for your purchase. Note, there is a limit of three gift cards per order when checking out. Gift cards can be combined with the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and AfterPay, PayPal.
Are Gift Cards redeemable for cash, or can I refund them?
There are no returns or refunds on Gift Cards, nor can any balance on a Gift Card be redeemed for cash except as where required by law.

How can I check the balance of my Gift Card
Gift Card balances can be checked by applying the gift card to your cart at checkout or by contacting our team at support@smithoptics.zendesk.com. We reserve the right to correct the balance of your Gift Card if we believe that a clerical or accounting error has occurred.
How will I know that my gift card has been delivered?
You'll get a confirmation email up to an hour after placing your order and the recipient receives the Gift card email notification moments after.
What if I put in the wrong email address?
The recipient email address can be updated only within the first hour the card is ordered. After that Smith cannot change or update your order and the balance cannot be transferred. You can contact us by emailing support@smithoptics.zendesk.com or Monday through Friday 8am-4pm (Pacific Time) at 888-206-2995.
How fast will an email or text message gift card be delivered?
Gift Cards are normally delivered within 60 minutes.
Can the gift card be used on another website that sells Smith products or on a Smith website in another country?
No, Smith Gift Cards can only be used to purchase eligible goods and services on smithoptics.com in the US.
